The law isn't always black and white. When they caught people importing it in Australia they did welfare checks and the Netherlands I believe too. I seriously doubt the federal government would have interest in prosecuting a possession of pentobarbital with the explicit intent to end ones life. That said it would take time to be indicted by the feds. I assume the police who searched her house were staties, were they?

Nobody buy N to get high. And in my country they would not arrest but send in psych ward too - for sure. Or at least they would try it.

The police (if they were police) would not have been staties, since the people involved are both Canadian. In a coordinated international investigation, they'd call in the Mounties at least.

Another question is why A's shipper would start opening the packages and testing the contents to conclude that the lust of customers should be turned over to Interpol.

And you missed my earlier question: Why would the police tell you all the details of the investigation? When was this - while the search was going on? In the police car?

And telling you N is used in the majority of suicides ... Where? In your "area" with the list of other recent purchasers?
