Thoughts on using fluoxetine (Prozac)? Helpful?

Haven't tried it myself but like all anti depressants it will work for some but not others. Might be worth a shot.

My ex gf used to take that one. She said it helped her lots because she felt happier and also had no appetite, which also made her happy because she had lost some weight.

It was great for awhile, but eventually triggered mania for me so my first psychiatrist took me off it

Prozac is like the first med a doctor will put you on, it's very mild, and severe recurrent depression might not respond to it. Not to scare you though, I hope it works. I just know I've tried several meds and it's taken to most "heavy duty" medication for me to even notice a difference.
