medication upped, feel different?

one of my meds was upped and I don't feel 'better', but different? not sure if it's med related or if I'm thinking more about the date approaching & relief? Not sure if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

my brain is a mess and I just want out already.

Guessing from your last sentence, you take mental pills. The best they do is make you feel different, but not better, so it suits your description. But who knows, maybe it's the relief of getting closer to leaving this hellish existence, to quote a famous poster.
