An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Thank you all the support means so much to us, if anyone has SI advice feel free to offer them
Taking the SN in 3hours from now. Going to measure the doses out in an hour and take the other meds as per the regime following the next hour after that.
They said they were taking it "in 3 hrs" (4pm US Eastern time) 4 hours and 20 mins ago (its 8:20pm now) according to my time stamps.. I hope nothing went wrong, like someone interrupting somehow . It's weird they just went missing so suddenly without a word.
If they did take it and it went right, they should be passed out by now.
wow- I didn't think banning happened so quick/ automatically with a goodbye thread- as they didn't say they had even taken in yet& in fact where expressing a little doubt still due to SI....and given they were so detailed before I feel like they would have shared when they were just about to take it?! well whatever happened...I hope they are either ok or at peace.
Ban appeal. What if they fail and want to come back to tell about their experience?
Ban appeal.
People act like doing a ban appeal is a huge inconvenience.
What barrier, though? If a person is able to run back here to post, they can post a ban appeal just as well. Why add another barrier in there.

The need for instantaneous, unimpeded gratification is absurd.
I at first I questioned why this one seemed to happen a little quicker than some others, but i do get the ban generally, say you are just so caught up in the process (which ever method) you might not do a 'final'-- final post on yr thread...you may have felt you've said enough and want to get on with it...then if you become unconscious...you may pass away...and family or authorities may be able to see/access yr account and everything you have posted etc, now this would be even worse if you failed yr attempt!! imagine having to deal with that yr families they may be able to see all/ everything bad u might have said about them Or just yr life in general (they will either be really angry or really upset) & they might see things related to yr considered methods-thereby preventing u the future etc...also of course bad for the site...just bad all round...would actually be the most stressful thing to deal with after an attempt-much more so than just logging on-on doing un-ban.You can't imagine a person dealing with the after-trauma of a failed suicide attempt, trudging him/herself over back to the forum, in a haze of guilt, pain, and disappointment only to find that they'd need to contact a mod for an appellate process instead of making a simple post? Personally, I'd just not even go through with it. I don't see anything about 'instant gratification' in this scenario.
I can understand that. But they were supposed to come back to update us. Why didn't we wait for the update. We never even knew if they drank the solution. Most goodbye posts, at least, gets to that point. It did feel a little rushed. But hopefully they were successful and they've found peace. It is done to protect the users account, simple as that.
'They' weren't supposed to do anything, they didn't have an obligation to come back and let us know how it went and you should respect that.I can understand that. Lol I know that. I'm not that dumb or insensitive. I never said they had to. Maybe I should've used better words. But they did say they were going to update us and that didn't happen. They could've changed their minds. That's fine. But the ban felt a little rushed. That's my point. Go argue over semantics with someone else.'They' weren't supposed to do anything, they didn't have an obligation to come back and let us know how it went and you should respect that.
