Just spent over an hour near the sea from 10 pm on while playing some music. Got really lost in my head
Maybe not having a genie or magic pill to grant your wishes is a good thing !
I mean when you think about it for every wish granted, 2 or more may pop up cause of the result
You can wish all your negative taughts away and it will feel great for some time but then you realise, you can't relate anymore when a friend starts opening up to you about what's crushing him in his own mind. You try to comfort him with the best you can but its not the same. Maybe the first time you wouldn't mind but after a while it starts feeling too distant
You can wish your anxiety away, but then your sharpness goes away too. When before you'd feel negativity from people or a situation miles away, now you don't realise it until its too late
Winning the lottery may sound like a dream but all the new and old friends you attract in your life after finding out that your home lone is magically paid can be overwhelming . Managing the unexpected funds seem to be more of a challenge than expected and the urge to quite a healthy routine and let go may be too hard to resist, which slowly but surely drags you down a rabbit hole
You can ask for a sharper mind, a quite mind, a more peaceful one , or an overactive one if your into that stuff. All magic comes with a price as they say
Even wishing a trauma away , as beneficial as that can be ... can backfire. It might take away your identity, your compassion towards others
You could argue that if the magic solution was there no one would really know suffering and the" I relate to what your going through" aspect of life would be inexistent but doesn't that take away our humanity ? And its hard to experience the intensity of good moments when there are no bad ones. You might come close but the bar would be really high like getting to meet your favourite celebrity etc
Same concept goes to physical appearance if that's what bothering you.
What Im saying is that the high way may be the best. Learning how to smoothen the rough edges may be the ideal way to go about it and figuring that out is the exciting part ! Whether it's with meds , meditation , soul searching , spirituality ....and lots and lots of trial and error .
Pretty much working on different aspects in life and knowing when to stop and be the flawed human that your comfortable with being is probably the best way to go about it I think
