Hello,

Out of curiousity, how many of you are familiar with this? My psychiatrist thinks it would be good for me to give it a try. He's had me do the microdosing of psibocilin before, and it kinda worked. Marijauana is easier to get, obviously.

I'm just kinda afraid of becoming dependent on it. I look at my two stoner roommates who smoke it constantly and never really put their bongs down. I dont want to becone like them. I like being a productive studious nerd.

I know this kinda sounds stupid. And i know its not like one of those drugs tbat is easy to get addicted to. Its mostly that I'm afraid it will change me and my identity if i go that route.

Any info or insight would be appreciated!

I smoke a lot, about an ounce every two weeks,300$/month however it helps me with my serious depression,as for dependence,I may be dependent on it lmfao, but it's up to you as to how much you decide to spend and use at a time,I've Jeeves microdosed, but over time you will build up a tolerance,so time off from smoking can help lower that tolerance as well

Under a doctor's care, I take medical marijuana and Wellbutrin. That combination is the only thing that keeps me functioning.

I did not want to take it for fear of dependence. My doc said who cares. Would you not take insulin because you may become dependent on it?

My doc was right. Am I dependent. Yes. I realized without it I can not function. With it, I can.... so I am dependent on it to function.

Wow, $300 a month sounds expensive.

That makes sense. I never thought of it like that. I guess if you put it that way, it doesn't sound as scary.

I thought the same way as you, which is why I had to be forced to take it. Bottom line. I have PTSD with auditory and visual hallucinations so bad I would either be curled up in a fetal position or sitting in a corner with my hands over my ears screaming. I can now function.

It's marijuana that did the trick.... but I would have done anything to make it stop, and cut down the paranoia, anxiety and SI to a manageable level.

If my symptoms increase, I call my doc. She always recommends increasing the marijuana. Not the other meds.

Yeah, at this point, I'm looking for anything to function and manage better. I don't want to end up back where I was a couple months ago. I think I might give it a shot. If it doesn't work or makes things worse, I'll just stop it. If it makes things better, then it makes things better! I guess its worth a try.

I don't have a medical card for it,which is why I pay so much, but then again I'm getting a good discount thru my dealer as he has quality product and is giving me quite a discount and...he's family of course,if you can acquire a card tho it allows for much cheaper expenses and smoking I have come to find allows me to be social as I find it hard to communicate normally and I always have it and will smoke anyone down in my general friendly nature, all in all I believe weed is fantastic and wished I started sooner
I wish you luck and good fortune and pleasant times as you go thru your decisions

For me, the 'medicinal' benefit of MJ is the 'high' which I get most effectively if I only smoke once per evening at which point I resolve to 'turn my life around' and do the things that I know will help me feel better, only to forget about them the next day or be too tired, depressed, fatigued to care. I think micro dosing would help me but it could also make me overeat or not take some helpful productive action. Amanita Muscaria is another potential ally to microdose, it's a legal mushroom.

May I ask what state you're in that allows this? I am really thinking weed works for me, but where I am it's totally illegal, so I can't find professional support. It also makes obtaining quality strains difficult.

New York. You need a medical marijuana card.
