I'm looking for a friend or just someone to talk to. My interests are spirituality, esoterism, philospphy, music, film. I also play a lot of hearthstone right now, but I'm not sure for how long that will last.

I haven't had a full conversation with someone in over half a year, so I apologize if I'm a bit awkward at first. It should settle down after a while.

If you suffer from chronic illness like I do, it might be easier for us to relate to one another, but I gernerally don't mind if you are here for a different reason.

Dutch here too (and also a night owl!), though I'm in my mid-30s. If that doesn't skeeze you out though, I'd love to talk sometime. I have only had an small handful of friends over the years I've ever felt like I could be completely myself with. Like you, I would never judge my friends, and I know first-hand how much it sucks when that feeling is not reciprocal.

I'm not too familiar with schizophrenia, but do have a fair amount of experience with various other disorders. As long as I know what I can expect, I think I'm decent at dealing with them (and not taking things personally).

Mental health wise I have been diagnosed with: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, & Agoraphobia. I have been through multiple therapists, psychiatrists, and psych ward admissions, blah blah blah. There is a lot of trauma buried under my skin.

I just want to make a connection instead of hiding and hoping someone just magically sees the hopelessness I feel.

I'm deny_Conformity, I'm a 42M. I'm cis-het if it matters because I'm not looking to date, just looking for someone to talk to when I can't sleep at night or I'm having a bad day. I think we all know the loneliness that comes from feeling suicidal and not being able to talk to anyone. Currently not sure if I want to CTB or want to recover. I'm a good listener and sometimes just having someone else who cares listen to you can make an otherwise crappy day come out okay.

I have a diverse set of interests and love to learn new things. I play games (nearly exclusively with friends or my son), I listen to a diverse variety of music and enjoy it if it's got a good beat (everything from Slipknot to Taylor Swift, diverting via happy hardcore and breakbeat). I love horror movies and go to a yearly horror movie festival. I read a lot of trashy sci-fi and am always looking for new recommendations.

I'll chat with anyone and I'm very immature (traumatic childhood) so tend to get along better with people younger than me or are equally immature.
