Haven't done much research, but my plan is to go into the forest and find a good, sturdy and climable tree and then measure the distance from a thicker branch to the ground for later. I'm planning for a 2-2,5 metre drop height to ensure I break my neck (I'm 72kg). The rope will need to be longer to account for the hangman's knot and the end I tie to the branch. Then I'll cut the rope ready, and then on the day I'll set it up, have vodka coke (maybe a smoke too) to take the edge off and then do it. I'll set up a delayed message to the authorities. Any insight on my method? Rope type, diameter? thanks
