Hi, has anyone got a good private psychiatrist in London?

I am just out of hospital and the medication they have put me on is going to kill me. So I need someone who actually listens which I know is rare in a psychiatrist....

assuming your going private I would expect any to be better than what you would expect via nhs. I'm not in the London area but might suggesting going on the BUPA website (even if ur not insured) they will have approved psychiatrists which I expect may have better quality control.

I think they are all the same. Plus I've tried most of the medications.

They seem to be about £500 for an appointment then £220 or something for a follow up. To pay that much money and not be listened to by a psychiatrist is a killer. I know they won't let me have a say in what medication they give me.
