  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Clifton Suspension Bridge, connecting to Bristol. On wiki it says the clearance below is 75m, and the total height is 101m. It has barriers installed, which again according to wiki has halved but not eliminated suicides. But I don't know what the survival rate is for those who have jumped, nor what the barriers look like. Advantage is that it's open to pedestrians and cyclists as well as vehicles and well accessible from most of England.
Added too, thanks for posting the extra info. I'm sure people will find it all useful when reading through.

As you say it's all about accessibility for some people, so I'm trying to list as many as possible once I know.
