Lithium for bipolar depression

It took about 2 weeks to start working for me.

Hopefully it starts working for me soon

I'm currently on day 3 for it and so far, it hasn't helped with my suicidal thoughts

@Squiddy how is it for you now? I am thikning about trying it.
@MisanthropicLycan my dad's friend is in his 60s and lived a normal life on Lithium for Bipolar. He is begging me to try it.

Did you start it yet - and if so, how is it going for you?

I can feel a tiny difference, but am still suicidal

I'm due to start lithium very soon as I got diagnosed with Bipolar yesterday, yay me. Just waiting on bloods to come back, already have a thyroid condition that is well managed so kinda hoping it doesn't mess that up and cause more problems. It does take quite a while to kick in from what I'm told. I already take antidepressants and antipsychotics so this will just be an added extra.

When it works, it does a really good job. Worked for me.
