FYI....Check out this article about student accidental death involving liquid nitrogen.
Small space with open top
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2526498/

Liquid nitrogen tank had 150 liter, it look like average size oxygen tank,,See photos

I been thinking about liquid nitrogen in small space like a closet. Good to know it doesn' have to be in CLOSED space.

I was thinking of doing the same but in a tent.
There's the problem of liquid nitrogen being cold as hell.
There's also the problem of acquiring said tank. Googling images tell me it's a gigantic thing!
I don't know anything about these things, though. If I could slowly amass a cache of liquid nitrogen tanks, I'd make the investment of my life!

There are few thread about liquid nitrogen here, search?
Tent? depends on how big or small, let's say small 2 person tent, Depends on how much liquid N is released, it might blow off tent since not solid structure.
There was a thread talking about car, and a poster said it might blow off car space..not really sure exactly what poster meant but jest is liquid nitrogen expands fast..like 700:1 ratio
I thought about soild space like a small room, closet? garage? calculate the volume, 700:1 expansion, that would give how much liquid nitro to buy...
You are right, where to buy? weight? transportation, etc...like any methods, details...NOthing in life is easy..LOL
Nice thing about liquid nitrogen is like the article and industrial accidents, it can fill a room, just walk in,,then dead..simple...

Personally, unless better way, nitrogen tank with respirator mask...I won't derail this thread with details..you can search..

I think this would be a difficult death to get right and maybe I'm wrong. Seems similar to just laying in a bathtub of water and not getting up; when your head is under water. So basically you either have to be knocked unconscious or fall asleep to a state where even lack of air isn't going to jolt you awake. I'm curious if I'm mistaken. I've been around liquid nitrogen before and I cannot figure out how this is an easy method. It doesn't make your lungs feel like you're still getting oxygen?

??? all due respect, are you sure you know how nitrogen kills person? Maybe you need to review??
read article again, read industrial nitorgen accidents...
Person walks into room filled nitrogen, breath normally, falls unconscious, then dies peacfully.
OR maybe I am missing something you are saying?
