Sorry to derail but I like you, fight for pitbull rights always. I grew up with one and I always knew than as the "nanny dog" because they're protective as fuck over their "pack". They seem to be more commonly dog aggressive than other dogs, but maybe my experience is just skewed, all in all pitbulls have always been absolutely lovely animals in my experience, as have all other dogs. Btw I refer to staffie bull terriers.Pits don't rip and tear human flesh. They defend themselves from abuse. When they become afraid of all humans after constantly being abused, that is when they can be mean. But that goes for all animals. It's not exclusive to pit bulls.
Yeah that's the impression I was always under too, it's a lot different for people who grew up with them I suppose.I've been around pits my whole life and they are nothing but sugar. Fiercely protective, fiercely loyal, fiercely loving. They have no hesitation to giving their life to protect the ones they love.
They get a bad rep because they're popular with dog fighters due to the raw power pits often have.
Tough one but I'll go with dislike,Hate
