Have social anxiety, it's such a pathetic thing to be scared of. It's the reason I haven't had a single friend since I was twelve, and why I ended up dropping out of school. Don't know how I'm supposed to get a job if just the thought of having to do a interview makes me want to vomit. Can't even do therapy, because I'm too scared to tell them anything. There's things I want to do, but can't because I can't stand being in any public place.

I'm really sorry about your predicament. As someone who also has social anxiety I know how embarassing it feels. I hope that sometime in the future you can be kinder to yourself though. Having a crippiling mental illness doesn't mean your a coward, you have to fight against your brain every day and thats a crazy amount of mental strength that not many non-mentally ill people have to go through. 🫂

I haven't been able to go to school or get a job for the same reason. Not to mention sometimes the most mundane stuff feels humiliating af because I get so aware of how stupid I must look not being able to speak, and not being able to "be normal." People don't even empathize either, 'cause they just get tired of your social anxiety. I hate it.

Non-mentally ill people don't have panic attacks over the thought of having to interact with someone. Pretty sure that makes them mentally stronger than I am.
