I made a similar post a while ago; however, some people felt there are "many options" for entertainment, and yes, there are, but economic, social, and other limitations in society mean that not everything is available to everyone. For example, next year is the World Cup, and those who want to go to the stadium won't be able to afford even the "cheapest" ticket because it takes up practically half of an average salary, and most people, between personal and family expenses, find it difficult to go to a damn football match for something that generally isn't worth watching (football has become boring).
That was a rather bland example, but generally, there are many similar things. If you want to travel to another country, it's not cheap at all, and there are limitations on the fun things you can do. It all comes down to money and social status, because it's not the same if you're the Prince of Thailand and travel to another country with great fanfare as if you have money because you won the lottery. And, interestingly, many people spend their money recklessly because it doesn't stretch as far as one might imagine.
Life is a boring shit, that's why so many wealthy people are on drugs or addicted, and that's why many people seek strong emotions in extramarital relationships and other sexual adventures that give a little excitement to their miserable lives.
