I wanted to make a post because it's very important to me to make one thing clear: sanctioned suicide was incredibly beneficial for my recovery. The thoughts that I was unable to express to others without fear of repercussions I was safely able to express to everyone here.
A space where suicidal people can exist without consequences is crucial. Banning this site will never change the suicide rate. It will deprive people already struggling with finding safe spaces from one more.
Thank you to the mods and creators. I'm sure you know how important this site is and how many people need it. Please never stop fighting for us.
Thank you everyone for the support and kindness over the years. May all of you find your peace however you can
