Discussion I feel like there’s too much discussion and info about DSL on here and I fear it might get exposed

Just as the title says.
Most of you are already aware that we are not the only ones using this site. There are law enforcements, FBI, journalists etc among us too. I know many people struggle to find a source, but unfortunately we have to be secretive and skeptical about everyone and everything on the internet, or we might lose the only confirmed legit source and maybe even get in trouble with law enforcement and blamed for giving away sources to ctb.
Not to mention there might be minors lurking around on here who could also stumble across DSL with suicidal intentions. I've found the site from the info in a thread in 2 minutes with just a yandex search. It's just too easy.
I guess we could come up with a different idea to make the site reach confirmed adults safely without any risks of our sources being taken down and ruining it for everyone

It took me only a few hours after I got the search function. There are plenty enough clues out there, probably too many which does concern me. I don't think there is any safe way to age confirm people though. The only options are IDs or "AI face scans". Face scans straight up don't work and can be bypassed easily or tag adults as minors; handing out an ID to use a site like this is a huge risk and can put people in a ton of trouble if they were leaked.

this. this source is as good as dead tbh. it's a matter of time. only thing you can do is get it ASAP and figure out long term storage, and that's not just dsl, that's everywhere.

I agree. It's not gonna long before it goes down. I'm so glad I pushed through my fear and ordered mine last month

Not trying to talk bad about the staff, but people been complaining about this for the longest.

I somewhat understand they are already in a gray legal area as far as hosting/moderating this site, and don't want to go further.

However, they already do delete obvious source revealing, so why not take it a step further?

I would say have a feature where if enough veteran members report that a post is source revealing, then automatically hidden. Then, a moderator can have their vote. Veteran users and moderator votes are weighted differently, like 51% and 49% respectively.

It sort of a shared responsibility thing between members and the staff. Should be easy to code.

There is more to this idea, but you get the idea.
