Well as title suggests. I really want to leave catholic church before CTB to die with my philosophy being correctly expressed. I already told everyone around me that if i die i dont want a catholic funeral, at best i would want to be buried under tree in the forest but its illegal to die the way you want XD so far go bodily autonomy. Its insane that i cant decide for my body after being deceased its plain ridiculous and tyrannical.

but my family is quite religious and i cant be sure if they will respect my will.

and act of aposthasy is quite lengthy endevour in my current state it feels impossible and everyone arround me discourages me from that. So its possible, but yea right now i cant do that.

also the fact that they opted me into catholic church when i was a newborn and depriving me of choice in this matter makes my blood boil =/

100% agreed. Tbh dead me wouldnt care about my funeral anyway but rn im alive so i care tiny bit. well i will try to leave this institution when i will feel better.
Being in this insitution feels like obstacle in future endevours if anything. And knowing how highest hierarchy of church protects pedophiles is absolutely disgusting. Marcel Maciel persona was enough to convince me to leave this immoral instution. Not to mention long standing opposition to sexual minority rights and initiating hate speech etc.

i'm a gay person, the catholic religion believes the bible is real, the bible says i should be stoned to death. your catholic religion offends me and there's no middle ground on this. yes, it is made up myths and is not real. on behalf of all the trans and gay people who have committed suicide after religious bullying and conversion therapy, i happily tell you it's all made up. there is no way for me to discuss my truth and my experience without offending catholics. referring to catholicism as anything less than made up implies there could be some truth that a magical being in the sky wants LGBT people stoned to death. the world would be better if catholicism and other hateful religions never existed. there's not a way to express the opinion that "the catholic religion is completely made up and horrible" without offending people.

There is no way to be supportive about your religion without harming trans and gay people. Your religion states, as a biblical law, that I should be put to death if I have gay sex. I did not ask to be the way I am. Your religion is cruel, its laws of subjugation against women are cruel, it's rules for "proper" way to treat slaves are cruel, and the miracles are made up. I know it's a support forum, and I hope that my comments help support suicidal trans people who are tired of religious people making hateful comments all the time. I am sorry that saying truthful statements does not support your religious delusions.

You must first understand that consciousness is what creates the reality we find ourselves in. Your physical environment as well as the physical objects in it are simply symbols for your thoughts and beliefs. Much like the words I'm using right now are symbols for the information I'm trying to get across. Taking on a physical existence implies that you have agreed to a basic set of rules - most notably that there is a delay in the realization of your thoughts, and that we accept a veil of amnesia while here and we purposely forget all of the above so the experience is not cheapened.

If you watch NDE testimonials, you will notice that Christians often encounter Jesus or other religious figures, Catholics often see the pearly gates, people who believe they are going to hell often find themselves in a hellish environment, still others who believe in non existence might find themselves in a void. This is because it is their beliefs that are creating the environment they find themselves in. It would not be fair to call them illusions, because they are no more or less illusions than what we call everyday physical existence.

They are temporary though - that is until you realize that it is the power of your consciousness that is creating the environment you find yourself in.

The best way to approach death is with curiosity and that of an open mind. People who are stuck in their beliefs are essentially trying to swim against the current and create unnecessary turmoil for themselves.

The crossing of the River Styx is another example of these road maps that were created to provide a familiar framework for the newly crossed over.
