Resource Keep SN in a hermetic sealed container?

So I wonder if my SN would oxide fast into nitrate if I removed it from the original container and transferred it to a regular kitchen container to make it look less like something suspicious.
Would the hermetic seal on the container preserve it? If so, for how long? Should I fill it all the way up to reduce the amount of air inside?
also there's this bottle, it looks like it has a pretty good seal
