I just took like 8000mg of paracetamol
I threw up but I'm still feeling so nauseous. Should I go to the hospital?

YES go to the hospital right away that will not kill you but damage your internal organs

"Untreated paracetamol poisoning may cause varying degrees of liver injury over the 2 to 4 days following ingestion, including fulminant hepatic failure. Rarely, massive overdose may initially present with coma and severe metabolic acidosis."

It's your call. I don't know you and don't know how it will effect you and your body.

Paracetamol death is slow and awful thing to overdose on, From what read. Living with wrecked liver is even worse. liver damages don't hurt until it's way too late and need a transplant.

So it's your call. to be safe I would say yes and go for your sake if you want to be certain you aren't harmed.

I went thru it twice doing 8 or 9 grams. Then 12 the next.
It made me sleepy and I didn't puke. I am pretty sure it. Harmed my liver some, maybe,. Either way it wasn't good for it.

I'm heavyset, I don't drink and relatively healthy before I ingested them. So that was my choice to not go anywhere or tell someone. I'm not saying it's right for you or encouraging you to stay home. Not at all. I was dumb either way and took the chance. You might not be so fortunate.

Then again you can always say you were hurting and lost track of how many you took forgot to swap it with ibuprofen.

NAC is the antidote if treated soon enough. Will protect your liver if they think you even need it. They will stick you and get your levels to see how toxic your blood is. If too toxic they will probably give you NAC.

also be prepared to get pumped or to drink charcoal. You have some time to get there. I would have a friend you trust to take you or call the EMS.

Yes, permanent kidney and liver damage can result from this- the sooner you get treatment the better.

Go to the doctors, lie like the above comment suggests, and know how to protect yourself against suicide accusations: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...lf-against-involuntary-hospitalization.90919/
