Just ordered some SN has anybody here had any issues with police?

Just ordered two bags of 50g 99.9% pure SN has anybody had any issues with police knocking on their doors in UK? The reason for two is so I have a spare if anything happened to the first bag. Like if the police came to confiscate it at worst.

My heart is racing right now the thought of being caught or them coming terrifies me. My parents would dis own me. I just feel I need it as a backup plan

I think it is pretty unlikely they will bother you. Sorry, did not mean to alarm you. I just heard about a couple of cases. I'm sure isolated.

If we're talking about the 8th March stream, he said nothing meaningful except non-identifying pleas of "people", "first reports", "gonna hear a lot more about this", basically a cliffhanger to drag the attention but not giving any specifics. He could have as well read the anecdotal report from here (there was one), we don't know

I'm gonna rinse with some mouthwash to numb my tastebuds a bit beforehand. Not sure if it will help but worth a shot.

I imagine it just tastes like really bad seawater... so it depends on how sensitive your tastebuds/throat is I guess.

A burning sensation in the throat is only occasional and about mild (uncomfortable, not overly unbearable). No spiting out for this reason alone (disgusted by the taste, or having second thoughts, some will voluntarily), never yelling in pain

Useful, @GoodPersonEffed dressed up statistics on the likelihood of symptoms, drawn out from the available member reports. They give a realistic picture of what to prepare for. Everyone is going to react differently, so there is some unknown outcome that needs to be accepted

They've said their throats burn after drinking it.

I can't help but think why is nothing easy aha. When you think you've got something and read about people saying oh it burns your throat btw. It is the kinda thing that makes you turn your head quick at someone and go what.....With a worried look and think god dammit I'm scared even more now aha. I suppose it won't hurt as much as hanging or cutting.

Yeah I wouldn't worry, I probably ordered from the same guy (also 50g, also UK) last month. I just store it somewhere secure in my flat. No police have come - I imagine they'd be busy patrolling the streets anyway with the current situation.

Yeah exactly, they have bigger things to worry about rather then bloody bags of SN used to cure meats. Although they might be on alert because suicide rates are going up because of the virus. They may try and catch people out and stop it.
Does it last long aswell? I was thinking if I store it in my desk draw which is a cool place and leave the two bags in there. Nobody ever goes in them

I live in the UK. I wouldn't worry about the police due to all the stuff happening with the Corona Virus. They won't have the time and stuff. I have never considered SN fully. As I thought it was practically impossible to get if you live in the UK. But now I may consider. Have a good day and try not to worry about the police I doubt they will call.

In late January I was planning to CTB and I said my "goodbyes" to my friends. Big mistake - they called the police and they came to my flat. They didn't search my property or anything - I just told them I'll be fine - they can't force you to do anything, you've done nothing wrong.

How long have you had yours for? Some people have said the police have come even up to six months of them owning it.

I think if you're the worrier type, you should consider if it (SN) is really what you want, cause there is no guarantee it will match YOUR definition of a peaceful journey.
If you're disturbed by surprises, and decided nonetheless, you may want to prepare mentally for all scenarios with some visualisation exercices to have your nerves under control.

Some test their will to live by undergoing SN with precipitation, to only regret it in the moment and call for rescue. Even if it's not a physically traumatic experience with sequels, the hesitation is not enviable and shows a weakness of evaluating the decision. If you are not cornered by a lack of physical means (roof over your head), take an infinite time to exhaust all other options than CTBing, or build up the appropriate confidence to access a method that will make you feel comfortable

Guys I've pussied out I can't do it. I've contacted the seller and cancelled the order. I am so messed up in the skull this depression and mental health has been driving me crazy. Changing my mind all the time. I think I'm going to talk to my counsellor maybe again at college after this virus. I just dont feel like its something I want to own or do. I swear I dont know what to do with myself anymore. :(

The lockdown has certainly limited our options on how we can ctb. Hopefully this all blows over soon. So we can get our supplies and catch the bus soon. I have all my stuff ready for either partial or tourniquet. I'm just practicing at the moment. But if that doesn't work out I'm going to look further into getting the stuff for the SN method.

I've pussied out plenty of times in regards to suicide. Nothing wrong with it. Can I suggest contacting the Samaritans. It's totally anonymous. Just til you get to see your counsellor at college. They are great just to chat to. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Mine arrived about 2 weeks ago. It had been repackaged and was not sent in the same bottle that I saw online.

Haven't tested it yet so can't be sure that it is what the site said it was. No visits from the police so far.

When you say failed did you actually jump but it didn't work ? I tried to ctb via jumping about 11 years ago but I didn't jump. Bridge would have been to short a drop any how.

No I was about to walk off the edge, when I was informed my brother was with the police where they had cut off the road, that frustratingly made me thing twice, as I didn't want my brother seeing that! My brother was then allowed to be in a position to pull me off the bridge :(
