I just ordered citric acid. Will be trying the baking soda+citric acid method.
I just had my 30th birthday on Sunday. The people that came weren't my friends but my sisters. I tried to be friends with these people for like 8 yrs and just can't. At least I had a good birthday. Haven't had a party since I was like 17. The rumination of all the things that happened in my life has left me feeling numb and empty about a future. I can't get my adhd treated by Vyvanse I just get denied. Haven't been able to get a good job passed $16 hr. Don't have friends. Shit my parents are going to Mexico for Christmas but don't want to take me. It's just the shame shit every year. I just feel empty, alone, isolated, stupid, degraded, alone and I just can't keep thinking it will get better. Will probably attempt on the 26 but maybe saturday too

Concentrated CO₂ can irritate the eyes, throat and airways similarly to carbonated water, which is produced by dissolving carbon dioxide in water, forming some amount of carbonic acid. Carbonic acid is weak and not corrosive enough to cause chemical burns, but the perceptions from its contact with sensitive tissues may be somewhat unpleasant. When the head is placed inside a bag filled with CO₂, it makes sense to keep the eyes closed (or use protective goggles) and avoid nasal breathing, because the nose is especially sensitive to irritants. Although breathing through the mouth should be more comfortable, appearance of cough is possible anyway. If the concentration of the gas is right and respiration is not restricted, relief from discomfort should come in a few seconds (within half a minute).

Um so your saying it's possible? Sorry I read it but then it got jumbled in my head to understand

CTB via CO₂ poisoning is definitely doable (as suggested by a few case reports), but doing it in a non-optimal way can cause more discomfort than necessary (possibly increasing the chances of failure). Since this method is rarely used and there is no megathread describing optimal protocols for it, I wanted to remind some essential details that could be overlooked by people who might want to attempt to CTB with this gas.
