Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

There are things both big and small that have made it to where I just f(*&ing hate this place, and life. On the smaller side is some of the things people do over and over. Today I had one that drives me crazy that's happened many times. I foolishly decide to go for a walk downtown, and for the millionth time a large group of friends are walking towards me. You know the type? All happy, like some beer commercial. All smiles, and isn't life great when you're us? And they're all walking abreast of one another, taking up the whole sidewalk. One wall of happy yuppies. So, like every other time, I move to the side closest to the wall, because I'm not f&^%ing walking into the street for them. I figure they'll maybe see the effort, and I didn't just push through their center...maybe....this time they'll appreciate my consideration? Nope. Every time. They look like I'm the asshole for not climbing the wall to let them through. One of them has to make a space to let me through. What a dick I am for existing. If I could just somehow get away from people.....

I know the feeling of being envious of other's happiness. It's especially strong when that happiness is built on your sadness.

I've had the exact same experiences with happy, rich assholes when walking around, especially downtown. It was particularly infuriating when I was living on the streets...your post reminds me of something I wrote alluding to such an encounter during that time.
