so my original plan was to use a cord, maybe a belt if that doesn't go to plan. but then I was looking at something I bought a while ago, and got an idea that I'm wondering why nobody has tried yet...
Cowboy method. Yeehaw.
I mean, look at the bottom of it:
It has a loop that tightens exactly like a slipknot, except you don't have to go through the effort of tying it. I'm not sure how one would attach it to the ligature, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult. It's just so incredibly convenient, I don't know why I haven't seen anyone talk about this before... probably because it's incredibly silly, to be found hanging from a cowboy hat. That's why I'll probably still try my other options first, but I may give this a test run just for fun & to test my SI. So far, oddly enough, it hasn't really kicked in, but my tests were pretty mild with not a lot of pressure. I'll have to tighten it harder next time, I just don't want to accidentally CTB before I've finished preparing.
Has anyone thought of this before? Or better yet, have any examples/images of it? It works exactly the same as any other cord/string but way easier.
