Meto isn't "needed" to ctb. It's only suggested to help with nausea and to prevent you from vomiting the SN.
I saw some vids of what happens without meto and it did NOT look good
Lowering anxiety or pain and sometimes making you more likely to die or not chicken out when it comes to benzos.
As long as you hold the SN in your stomach long enough to absorb most of it, it doesn't really matter if you throw up and I believe the PPH suggests two cups. I mean if I were to try it I would follow all the instructions as listed to make it most likely to succeed. The biggest thing people neglect is going to a place where you will not be found because while SN does knock you out relatively quickly within 15 mins you still have a while to die, I believe like two hours. And if somebody comes and rescues you in those two hours you could come back. But apparently even if you come back there's low risk of brain damage. The environment is paramount because it's human nature to try and save people who are dying. Don't let anyone see you while you're dying.
Dude was already cooked by the time he started puking. It was lights out unless somebody delivered silver nitrate on a platter. Well, for him it was lights out already but you know what I mean. Videos sort of scare people because the body does involuntarily movements after you're unconscious. It's your brain firing neurons randomly since your brain is starved of oxygen and malfunctions. It looks brutal but to him nothing is happening. If he was truly suffering he would be streaming in pain clawing at his throat like people who swallow K cyanide and have a few seconds of horror before they go night night.
