I'm going to book a hotel and jump sometime in the future. I have several hotels in mind but there's one I really want to use. I'm going to ask for a high floor. This by itself isn't necessarily suspicious, people ask for high floor rooms all the time. But let's say they don't have a room on a high floor. I don't want to make a reservation ahead because I live with my parents and most of all, I want it to be on a day that I choose, so I want to make the reservation on the same day I call. So if a room isn't available on a high floor, I'll have to call back on a different day and ask. Isn't this suspicious? I have a young voice, I live in the same state as the hotel I'm staying at. Why would someone book a hotel room JUST for the purpose of staying on a high floor? Who has that time? To call multiple times within a month for a high floor room? Is there ANY excuse for this? I'm going to ask for a room above the 25th floor. I don't know how many times I'll have to call before I'm able to get the room I'm looking for. Suspicious or not?

You can say you need a top floor room because you don't like hearing people stomping around upstairs. Perfectly legit reason in my book.

Now is actually a good time to book a high hotel room. With so few people traveling, rooms, including high rooms, should be available at hotels.

Call at different times, on different days of the week to increase the chance of speaking to a different employee. Unless it's a small location, there are probably a few working the reservation desk.

Are you planning to jump from the roof or from your room? Lots of hotel rooms have things in place to deter suicide. Just something for you to contemplate
