A guy goes into a bar and orders three whiskeys. He insists they be poured in separate glasses and served at the same time. He comes back the next day and orders the same. He keeps doing this.
The bartender finally asks, "Why do you always have me serve you 3 drinks in separate glasses? I could just pour them all in 1 glass." The guy says, "The thing is that my brothers Ian and Daniel live far away. I don't see them much, so I have 1 drink for Ian, 1 for Daniel and 1 for me. It makes us feel like we're closer." The bartender says, "Ah, ok, I understand."
Then one day, the guy walks in and orders just two whiskeys. The bartender goes, "Oh my god, did something happen to Ian or Daniel?" The guy says, "No, no. They're fine. I quit drinking."
