It’s so bizarre how life can punish you. Failed suicide attempt

There was a pair of teenage boys years ago with a suicide pact. One died, one blew his face off and lived. This is the "Judas Priest made them do it" lawsuit in which members of the band took the stand to testify that there are no hidden messages in their songs and that sometimes the lyrics are written without any significant meaning.

If you search for the case, you'll likely find pictures of the survivor (he later died after going back to drugs and alcohol.) He did not receive a face transplant but had several reconstructive surgeries. It is an object lesson in doing your research and avoiding the impulsive gesture.

I read a horrendous story yesterday about a guy who wanted to commit suicide with a gun. First he used a sawn off shotgun and shot himself in the chest, but was still alive so he got up and walked to get a pistol which he then used to shoot himself in the head. Still alive, so he reloaded the sawn off shotgun and this time blew his throat out. Yes....still alive, so he took the sawn off shotgun again and pointed it too, i think his chest area again & using her toes pulled the trigger. FOUR TIMES IT TOOK TO DIE. I could not believe this when i was reading it.

Poor girl. This is why people shouldnt use guns if they don't know what They are doing. It's beyond me why so many people think shooting under the chin straight up makes any sense.

The guy that shot him self under the chin, that was his third shot (and with a sawn off shotgun). Hed already shot himself in the chest and the head. I wouldnt say he didnt know what he was doing, he acheived what he wanted.....eventually.Just exceeding bad luck.

I'm sure this girl didn't imagine she could possible survive after a shotgun, but there she is. Things like that make me sick and scared

This is a nightmare.

I wonder if she's been coerced into saying shes glad to be alive. It seems she has no possibility to exit on her own anymore, and probably spend all her life going to doctors appointment, group therapy, and occupational therapy.
