  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

england is even worse than my country, denmark, it seems.
everything is just going wrong over there, i feel bad for you.
how did the welfare check get sent to you? by a private person or because they could see you ordered SN?
So if you succeed, what do they do?
knowing UK police, they would probably imprison the family members of the suicide victim lol.
but seriously tho, their priorities in UK are so fucked up

How did you get through two search warrants? If a person hides it and says they threw it out and it's found does that get them in more trouble? I think the safest bet at this stage is to be honest that you'd ordered it for ctb but you since threw it out. What did you say to them?

They can't prosecute dead people no matter how much they might like to. It's not a crime here in the US to ctb, but if you're not successful, you still get locked-up.

I'm not sure how, but they're convinced I have it with me, which is true lol. I took it out of the box it came in after the last search warrant and hid it in a flower pot that my mum uses for a fake plant.

Long time lurker here, I hate the UK government to my core. why must the arms of the state intrude into every part of a person's life?!

Fuck our rulers. I should've died when I was born. Why will you not let me have my peace?

You can shut this down or ban my ISP from allowing VPNs if you'd like. Cut off this community if you dare.

You'd cause many more deaths just by that though.

Many disabled and people permanently struggling with something reside here as its their only place they can talk about these things candidly as CAHMS and mental health services get twitchy when you say you'd like to stop contributing to GDP permanently.

You have pedophiles openly trading C/P on twitter and bluesky but think this is your main priority.

Get to fuck you overstepping pricks

Sorry needed to vent - I wish we weren't in this situation

It's just so horrific to me and extremely cruel how they imprison people in this cruel, torturous existence and make it into a crime wanting the option of a way to painlessly cease existing. I'll always see so much cruelty in how the suffering and torture of human existence is seen as to force and prolong no matter what, I just wish it's not a crime to want death as to not exist is all I personally hope for, I'd always prefer to not exist than suffer all for the sake of it in this existence I wish was never imposed more than anything.

Could I suggest that you find a new hiding place, if that was truly where you hid it.
With the prevailing suspicion that this site is plagued with various anti ctb authorities and groups the last thing I'd be doing is disclosing where SN was hidden, if I had any.
Just as a point of information, suicide is not a criminal act in the UK.
In England and Wales this is covered by the Suicide Act, 1961. It is however an offence to assist another to ctb.
In Scotland an attempt was previously dealt with as a common law Breach of the Peace. However, the Crown Office has now directed that this procedure should not be adopted.
In general terms an attempted suicide in the UK will be dealt with in terms of mental health.

How else are they gonna collect taxes..

Abortion ok
Suicide criminal offence
Which i find even after all these years ive stepped my foot on many areas of this once pretty blue rock we call Earth.. i just dont get how then can prosecute ..but they will go after a partner or a loved one wbo may or may not kniw if your intentions..
Ive repeated this many times .. its my life we have free will we can do as we wish.. no matter what that choice maybe.. get married and have kids... live alone ... travel the world.. join the army and get killed for king and country.. work till your ..well now its i to work till your in your 70s.. then what 5 or 6 years maybe 10 if your lucky to spend your days pissin around in a garden growin veg.. with all the new reform they want to leople like me in tesco stacking shelves yeah that gonna work... while on my cane and i probably just end up throwing tomatoes at people... the tinned kind..

Its a loss off our freedom to live our lives our way.. not by some government handbook on how to control your citizens ... i know ther going after this safe haven for us.. a place to talk discuss engage be open and to be freely honest about the life and the world we live in.. but under ECHR they cant touch it ..

So Mr b b c ... go fuck your self i hope enjoyed my post ..

The more we talk the longer we live ..we all have an end goal ..and thats our cboice as if and when WE ...MYSELF decides

Sorry for the vent and rant❤️

In the UK it is not a crime to attempt suicide. At one time it was, but they changed the law a long time ago. (Back in the 1960s, I think, or perhaps even earlier.) Nor is it a crime if you succeed, though by that stage anything the law says is rather irrelevant anyway.
