I hope you made it one more day. It is possible to reform and make a new start. It might be helpful to focus on simple daily pleasures. You mentioned "political organizer". You might want to be cautious about political or religious movements as others may use you up for their own ends. This can leave almost an empty husk.

Don't worry about being embarrassed. People who don't make mistakes are usually those who don't do anything. All of us have things in the past that we would prefer not see the light of day. Mistakes are sometimes very helpful in learning what not to do.

Someone once defined an expert as someone who has made the most mistakes in a narrow field. Given this definition, some us us are rather expert at life.
