did the package come labelled as nitrite salt or something else entirely?

sodium nitrite comes labelled as something else entirely - perhaps if yours was labelled as nitrite salt, it could help anyone else who has the same issue

i guess re-looking at your post it seems that it will be obvious for others to know if they have the right one, because most ordered 50 or 100 grams. it seems the nitrite salt is only available in 200 grams. i still wonder if yours had nitrite salt on the packaging since there would be no point in hiding it's true contents since nitrite salt is legal


thank you @knowledgeseeking - i have mine and know what it looks like, but not having seen the nitrite salt packaging, was wondering if the packaging of both was different, so it was easy for everyone to know exactly which one they ordered and received

It came in a yellow bag with Ukraine writing and the contents was labeled as "construction solutions" / "commercial sample"

For my accidental order of nitrite salt, I similarly had a yellow package (with a clear package of my order inside). The package inside was clearly labeled as nitrite salt, and there was also a customs note with the package that indicated it was nitrite salt.
