Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have a ikea pax clothed. Does the Clothing rod in there (visible in the pictures) look stable enought for psh?
Im nearly 2 meters tall and weight around ~80-85 kg (male) (i don't have a options at home to get exact values).
I don't have a rope (yet), but i when i would cbt, i would extend my legs forward to minimize the risk off standing up during unconsiosnes. (Like position 3 in the picture of the linked tread:

Sorry, but you'll break it and PSH is very hard to pull off even with a good anchor point.

This says that typical steel closet rods can hold 50 - 100 pounds (22 - 45 kg). I think it's too weak to support your weight. Do you have another anchor point?

In general I find it so stupid that the clothing rod is being seriously recommended as a good anchor point for partial hanging…..it's so damn dangerous to do it there. If there'd be absolutely no anchor point at home I'd rather go to the woods instead of doing the hanging with so much risk of failing and having horrible consequences from that
