Unless you're a public figure or ctb in a way that causes a spectacle it's doubtful your face will be plastered anywhere et alone everywhere. Family is usually whom authors obituaries with the help funeral home staff and unflattering details aren't typically shared.

Probably won't be an issue, but once you're dead there's no protections. Not legally as far as I know.

Completely agree with this. But want to add one exception. If your family is absolutely shocked by your ctb and feels they can blame it on something or someone, they could always go to the media. Not likely, but just a thought.

This is true and if the method is through something that one must obtain like medicines or poison there's a risk loved ones turn their grief into a crusade to curtail availability. That's what happened with Amazon and SN however even with that high profile case one would have to do some digging around for the faces of the deceased. They're not particularly 'Internet famous" or anything.

One other caveat is if one choses to disappear and there's a missing persons search.

I come from a pretty small country, and when teenagers/young adults ctb, its usually publicised somewhat because everyone is a bible thumper and obsessed with being in other peoples business. And since I'm an international, I can forsee the situation becoming controversial.

Hopefully tho, Im banking on my family being too embarrassed to post any pictures or go to any media like other families do.

Okay I understand, sorry for assuming an American model of how people will behave. I've read things about suicides in other countries not being allowed to be buried in consecrated cemeteries and it bringing shame to families which is a consideration. I also understand simply not wanting to bring a smile to one's enemies or talked about even if one isn't around to hear it. I dislike how nosey people are and how the Internet has enabled even the most basic people to be sleuths.
