• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

To escape this frenzy. What other options are there aside from CTB?
It's very difficult to pull it off. I can't participate in society due to being personally incompetent. I'd try anything if it's within my limited scope of ability and it's waiver than overcoming the SI

I'm not sure. I feel like it's possible to be happy or overcome things, but it's so different from person to person. I guess there isn't a clear option besides CTB, because you don't know what works. So the 'option' is to try everything. Different meds, psychiatrists, different therapists, changing environments etc.
For me I've had diff therapists my whole life but only recently found a helpful one, and I'm starting to find that being loved by others makes it easier to deal with life. I don't think I'll CTB until I also try antidepressants. So I guess it's just trying as much as you can. I'm not very experienced with this

I think @PenPen<3 provided a decent summary of what you could do, but I'd also recommend checking out the Recovery section if you don't want to CTB as it has plenty of resources which may be helpful.

Thanks for your insight. Tbh I'm grasping at straws to drag my feet on doing something hard but I guess inevitable. I've tried every practical route available, the only stuff left would be impractical but then again, dying isn't exactly easy

i definitely think it's positive for people to find other paths in life, i've seen people hit rock bottom multiple times and finally crawl out of it. personally i'm done with all of this but i'd never discourage anyone from trying still because at least i know it's possible to turn things around sometimes.
