From what I read that method seems unreliable and I read about someone failing with it. I've never tried it as I would fear it going wrong.

Night-night is a self-inflicted blood choke. Many people have died from such a hold, and it's why many police forces do not allow officers to use them. I've been blood choked in martial arts classes, and I can assure you that they work. However, the key here is that they only work if applied correctly. The night-night method will absolutely work, but I would say that pulling it off is not as simple as it seems.

Night-night and partial hanging are two methods I've never wanted to try because I never hear of anyone who actually succeed with it, I've only seen threads on how people say that it's difficult and they can't get it right.

Supposedly lethal, but I don't think you would have much success with it unless you had someone doing it to you. I feel like you'd be too likely to mess up whatever setup you use either right away or after you go unconscious. Would be interesting to get some input from someone who's attempted it before though.
