Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is suicide something we should try to avoid (or postpone)?

What is your philosophy? Should we try to postpone death till life becomes hell. Or we should we end life before life becomes hellish? Is suicide the last choice one should make or is it an appropriate choice if life is difficult? Where is your moral point of view

Yeah, it should be a last resort in my opinion. Things change and if not become better they become at least bearable. If you don't have physical disability and completely fucked up mental trauma, you can postpone it and think more about it

i think that life is inherently hellish, since nobody asks to be born in the first place, much less be subjected to some of the horrors of humanity. if the person can't find any silver lining in life, can't find a reason to continue living despite life's tragedies, then they should have the right to suicide.

I used to think that suicide should be reserved as a last resort, but now I'm not so sure. I do think that it would be a tragic thing for someone to CTB if there was something else they could have done to make life worth living for themselves, but everyone's reasons are unique and personal, so it feels wrong for me to tell someone else when it would be appropriate to commit suicide.
For myself, when I decide that I'm done, it means I'm done. It doesn't really matter if there are other things I could try to see if they help. If I don't have the motivation to try every single one of them and I have made up my mind about it, then I will CTB, whether it's the last resort or not. For me to say differently for other people would make me a hypocrite.

Well, unfortunately I am here to tell you that this our only and single life.
We will not have another expeirence like this ever till the end of time.
On the other hand, majority of people who are on this website have been dealth a lousy hand in life. In terms of family, looks, education, etc.
Other people have it better. Why? Because it just happened that they were more lucky. Hard work is bullshit. They were just handed stuff for free, a better position in life and they went on from there.
You get to a point when things become to stagnate, nothing changes day after day and you ask yourself: to live, for what?. And you instinctively know that other people have a better life and that is unfair.
Do not get tricked by them. People who have a better life in terms of status, looks, health do not brag about it because they do not want to be hated by those like us. And they keep it secret, but you know something is off because of their smug demeanor when they speak to you.
I'm sure many of you can relate to this.
You decide if is worth it here anymore or not.
Nobody can understand you better than yourself.
