I was actually looking into this as a method of ctb after reading an article about a lady with MND who chose this over letting the MND take her. I think it would be hard to do unless you are totally isolated as any friend/family member/neighbour who found you actively starving/dehydrating would take you in to hospital where you would likely be treated against your will.

Dying of starvation takes alot longer than you would expect. It's also NOT painless, it is psychologically and physically agonizing, you will slowly lose your mind and constantly think about food 24/7. You will also probably faint and get rescued or end up reactive eating before you die. It's considered a non-method for a reason, it almost never works.

I've struggled with Anorexia Nervosa for years and I have also tried to kill myself via dry fasting when times were rough so I am speaking from personal experience. I can't force you to stop but this is not the way to go. Seek help or find a better method because this is not going to kill you as fast as you think it would

Only if you're already extremely debilitated by something else in a controlled environment.

Otherwise not a chance. That is the myth of Tantalus made reality.

No, this will not work. Even if it works it will be everything but not peaceful. I met many people with anorexia during my hospitalizations (as a recovered anorexic myself) who survive weeks or even months without anything, they eventually end up binging severely or force fed through a feeding tube in a closed psychiatric ward. A heard of a woman dying after her stomach ripped due to a binge after extreme starvation - the only death caused by this stuff that I know of. Save yourself the struggle.
If you're still considering this after everyone advising against it, I highly recommend reading the chapter of VSED (voluntary stopping eating and drinking) in the PPH.

Really? For now I really dont feel like eating anything and I'm already feeling a bit dizzy, so I'm sort of making progress?
No don't do it. You won't die. You'll be too out of it to not eat anything. And you have no idea how hungry you can get.
Plus, when you survive, you'll have incurred serious damage because your body starts eating itself (autophagy).

Okay, I think I will try to choose another method since everyone tells me this is not a good one...

As someone who has experience with a restrictive eating disorder I would not recommend. It will be a slow and painful way to go.

Someone in the UK actually went over 360 days without solid food he just survived on water and nutrients. Curious to know why you've chosen that when there's better faster methods? I've gone 10+ days without, I only lasted that long was because I'm an addict and the drugs to suppress my appetite. By the end I was so weak I could barely get out of bed even small movements were painful. When hypoglycemia hits it's brutal. Sweating, shaking dizziness and intense hunger cramps and that feels pretty damn awful your body is literally screaming at you to eat
Angus Barbieri had quite a high starting weight (and was monitored by doctors)... tho yes, he indeed lasted around a year.. (382 days)

Fully agree. I am suffering AN BP type for the past 5 years and it is a living hell. Your mind will constantly be thinking of food 24/7 and the urge to eat is very strong for the first 3-5 days without food.
Then after that your mind will start to go weird and then the pain will slowly set in.

Would not recommend starving to death for anyone at all.

Day 3 update : I'm still hanging in but my head is starting to feel really heavy. My mouth smells really bad and it's so dry it almost hurts. I feel really weak, I don't know if I can last one more day but I'll try.
I've read all the messages advising against doing that but I'd still like to know what could happen if I push it until I reach my limit.
