Is sn a peaceful pill or not? It's not said anywhere that it is.

so far I've heard that SN sometimes may cause a headache, but it also makes you pass out rather quickly.
~12 minutes of possible headache doesn't seem that bad.

Why do so many prefer SN when SA is much faster and get's a higher overall score.

SA is also easily to obtain

Seems like headache is a common side effect of a SN overdose. Pain is unacceptable to me.

I guess the benzos are going to put you to sleep before the suffering starts but I'm personally not convinced.

Someone said that SN is similar to CO poisoning.

Anyway, it seems that with SN you'll feel faint and then you pass out. Now, whether there's uncomfortable symptoms or not is not a deciding factor for me as much as whether I'll pass out in ~12 min or not, and it seems SN is legit so I'm like what's there not to like.

I anxiously await the next version of PPeH where details of observed SN fatalities have been promised.

There seem to be lots of failures reported on SS, and in the majority of cases the protocol has not been followed; doses have not been properly measured, antiemetics haven't been taken and vomiting occurs, aid has been summoned, the person has been discovered (after nipping outside for a cigarette after taking SN in one case) and so on and so forth.

Also, where posters suddenly permanently disappear from the forum after claiming to have taken a SN dose we very rarely have proper evidence of what has actually transpired.

We have the sad, entirely proveable case of Shawn Shatto and her family of course, but she is the only 100% undoubted fatal incident that I know of on the forum.
Might it be, in many cases, that these posters have just decided to leave ? It is illuminating to look at the forum of six months ago, seeing how many people have left - surely they can't all have done themselves in ?

I want to try sn but even with anti emetic (i will only do a stat dose) it seems vomiting is very likely. I want to know if its still fatal after several vomiting.

I don't know whether she was a member. I've only read some translated news articles about her death and what little I could find on google.

To me it seems peaceful enough. It's certainly the most painless method I have access to and considering how quickly it makes you go unconscious I can overlook the fact that I will experience some discomfort. It's not like it makes you suffer so bad every minute feels like an hour. I'm able and very willing to have some minor symptoms before I pass out, it's nothing compared to 30 or so years of agony.

I don't know, maybe I'm weak or silly but this whole thread is disheartening. It is making me second guess this option and this may be the only option I have. I've tried hanging and have little to no money for anything else. I'm sure some will say there are many ways as I've seen those posts b4.

I like to see firm, empirical evidence before I believe in anything.

There is absolutely no question in my mind that SN can work. There is quite enough evidence for accepting that, starting with case reports going as far back as the 1930s, though these historic events are accounts of accidental ingestion where it was impossible to ascertain the amount ingested. Usually SN was mistaken for normal table salt.

The reliability index, seemingly somewhat low at 6/10, doesn't disturb me too much either - it is probably due to the fact that SN poisoning can be rapidly and easily reversed if the person is discovered.

The questions of proper dosage, additional drugs, individual susceptibility and regimen timetables are still somewhat in the air though (at least for me). I am also not yet satisfied as to whether a very large dose (say >20 gm) is a good or bad thing. Intuitively a very large dose would seem to offer more chance of success, but on the other hand it may induce vomiting . . . . . . these are the sort of factors that I would like to see resolved.

That's good when there is not doubt about..... but try to reduce your anxiety, I know that is hard but is not useful to you.

I rather prefer a headache for 3 minutes and death in 9, instead of suffering for 12 and then another 28 minutes of possible resurrection.

K, but please remember to avoid letting SA touch metal when handling that stuff.

Whatever the headache might be like you'll be only partly aware of it and it's over in a few minutes. Doesn't seem like a big deal.

I was surprised because I did not found any case report about SN. On thread above there is an autopsy by suicide and a accidental death case.
To know how you are going to die, somewhat I think that knowledge is so important, al least for me.
Lethal potencial SN is causing you a disease, seems to be a lickety-split anaemia, therefore you dying suffocated or asphyxiate.
It says a lethal dose is 2600mg each Kg. 100 kgs - 2,6grms, but there are cases that just are intoxications taking 6 grms.
And why?, because seems to be when S Nitrite is into your stomach can to transform in Nitrate, which is harmless or inocuous at least that is going to die. And why would be a very important issue to know I do not know yet.
Could to taking 15 or 20 grams yourself and it'd nothing happen.
About pain, reports says nothing, just it says something about skin colours and blood colour.I do not know whether blood colour and pain cuold be related each other.

So, in this method is so important the benzos and all about it related foods, stomach acidity, i guess.

I know nothing about SN, for this reason I am asking a question, because I do not know it.

Okay. No special diet; only 5-8 hours of no food at all, and then you drink the SN on an empty stomach.
