I compress my neck by tightening a cord and knotting, from sides, front and back. No matter where, when I apply pressure I inevitably hit trachea and start feeling bad. How can I avoid trachea?

I understand that it's very dangerous to mess with carotid arteries. I may end up alive with brain damage, stroke etc. This is why I apply light pressure. But even slight pressure hits trachea
I also tried a wide ratchet strap instead of thin cord. It's a soft elastic rubber with a simple locking mechanism. Although it was more comfortable, it didn't help.

Should I use something thick as a padding in both sides of neck? I fear socks won't be enough - they are too thin. What else I can use?

I thought very hard. I could use travel adapters. They are very thick but I fear they may also press on trachea

I think that as long as they press on arteries and I pass out easily, I can survive SI if trachea is pressed on

Is your method ligature strangulation or tourniquet? My method is them, combined with drowning.

Partial suspension. If that fails, then full suspension.

I wonder if it's possible to avoid trachea in these methods. Sometimes I start feeling hopeless. But at least I wish that along with trachea, carotid arteries will also be compressed. I don't want to end up damaging trachea while carotid arteries are totally ok and a failed ctb. How can I explain to doctors what happened to trachea?

CTB is so complicated. Pro lifers think I will just order a "suicide kit" and be done. Wish it was that simple.

I remember seeing someone on sasu make a "brace" that added pressure to the carotid arteries while keeping the trachea open. It looked a bit like a semi-circle with two bars sticking in, the idea that the bars would compress the carotid arteries while the trachea was proped open. I wish I could find the original post, the premise was essentially that they modified their partial suspension method to be like the night-night method. I don't remember if it worked or not.

I will try to think how this can be made, sounds innovative. I wish such posts weren't lost to time. There was a special section in forums for such posts

Something similar, made out of a better material (this is only for demonstrative purposes: I didn't have a better ring to use for the example), probably metal, and probably a larger diameter, that will encircle the trachea and keep the rope off of it, while still allowing the rope to constrict the arteries. But, this gives the general idea.

This idea came from the "methods" part of the ashspace.org website, which is now shutdown, since July 2025, because of new European laws making it illegal to show anything to do with methods of suicide, amongst other related topics, also.

Thank you so, sooo much. Can't i use that website at all? Maybe it's archived by some web archive service?

I think that this ring is placed around neck and it's flexible, it can be tightened and loosened? In this case, it should be made of elastic material? If it was made of metal, how could i widen it to put it around my neck?

And also, why 3 ropes are used in that ring?

@Kurwa-_-jeden, how do you think about this?

I am so sorry if I am very annoying, I apologize. But could you please share more about it?

What are those 3 ropes? Where can I read more about it? If it's made of metal, how can it be widened to fit onto neck?

And most importantly, can it be used with ligature strangulation method? Or it's only used for partial?

English isn't my native language, thanks so much for taking your time to read and reply to me

When I tried going on it, I get a shutdown message. Here's the link to the page where I think the information I posted was:

https://archive.ashspace.org/ash.xanthia.com/suspension.html

And a pic of the page I see:

1000002067

I looked for an archive and couldn't find one.

I think the ring is ridgid, probably metal. I think it's supposed to be large enough to encircle the trachea. There's only 1 rope on the ring - it's wrapped around it. And for the record, I have no idea if this even works. Like I said I found this "idea" on Ash ages ago to solve the problem of a rope applying pressure on the trachea and causing pain.

I hope I answered your questions.

I tried visiting ashspace.org as well. It wasn't possible

Thank you so much. If you didn't share its image, I would never have learned anything about it, if at all, since ash forums are also forbidden to access now.

I will ask AI programs like DeepSeek to figure out how it can be used. If I get useful information, I will share here
Chatgpt is very strict when it comes to ctb, so I will use DeepSeek.

I made that ring and rope just to show what it would look like. The Ashweb page didn't have any pictures, just a description of what it was and basically how to make it. Yeah, definitely share whatever you find useful. Good luck.

Socks worked for me. Last time I tried partial I rolled up a pair of thick, woollen socks and placed them on either side of my trachea. It took a couple of readjustments to get the positioning right, but I managed to compress the carotids. But I do fear that the socks may loosen up and mess up my cbt plan - which is why I'm scared to go though with it.
