• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Definitely more boring to live. Being dead and unconscious means I would have no awareness of anything, and therefore could never experience boredom. Sometimes I wish I could be dead already. It would be better than having to endure a lifetime of wage slavery anyway.

Being immobile in a coffin sounds like another prison.

Depends on your belief system- on whether you believe we have consciousness to feel bored after we die. If so- then that probably entails an afterlife somewhere. If heaven is so perfect, maybe boredom is eliminated. If hell is so awful- perhaps it depends on what the person hated the most in life. I imagine intense pain trumps boredom but- who can say?

Personally, I simply don't feel we have the ability to feel anything when we're dead. I personally don't feel we can regret being dead and leaving life behind. It's all down to belief though.

To me it's always preferable to not exist as all the suffering started when existence did and without existence one cannot experience anything at all, I see nothingness as being completely ideal, it was the ideal state that existence tragically disturbed and I don't see how one could get bored if they are completely unaware of everything. One can only feel bored when they are burdened with the ability to exist.

We would have to know what really happens after death. If there were creatures being able to live forever it would be normal for them, actually nothing in the universe lives forever, even the universe itself won't live forever it's aging in fact! What probably will "live forever" is the quantum vacuum energy, for whatever reason and for any "particles traveling with light speed" there is no time passing, so the question of eternity is nonsense in this case. So if we think that "life/ soul" after death becomes energy and reunited with the universe, there will be no time passing at all for this part of us.

I'm way past caring about boredom, I just want peace. I don't want consciousness for all eternity, it sounds like a nightmare.

I'm constantly tense and on edge due to severe paranoia caused by trauma, I also suffer from anxiety and depression but paranoia is the worst and my episodes are getting longer. I just want my consciousness to return to nothing and to be at peace.

Being alive is more boring, fun, sad, happy, exiting, dreary. Its all of that because being dead is nothingness. There will be no emotion, so no boredom. But no happiness either.
