Venting Is it better to not talk about suicide to nobody?

So, for me this is a reason to not talk anybody especially from medical stuff about suicidal thoughts, unless you want to be kept out of yours will in hospital and drugged. Thanks for such help

Bunch of jerks out there, they don't understand and never will, best to ignore those like the jerk who made the video.
Obviously there are some people who it's best to NOT tell how you are feeling to, but we have a right to our free speech here.

(cant watch the video rn responding based on your and WantingOut2's posts) this is why im terrified to open up because what i need is NOT be put in a straitjacket or locked up with nothing in a room bc im a danger to myself. i just need someone to listen and be calm and talk to me like a normal person. i remember after my """attempt""" (i consider it too pitiful to be called one) at 15 i got a psychiatrist and first talk with her with my mom in the room was that if i don't stop sh or my ed, basically if i don't comply, i will be taken to another city and forced to spend a month in psychiatry there which was. Awful. like im already feeling shit because of everything and now i have to make a choice between pretending to not want to die or being locked up. also the sessions didn't do anything for me. waste of time. unfortunately the system here sucks ass lawl but it could be worse; still, terrible for a patient thats struggling

If you want to talk, best to do it only to person(s) you fully trust.
I have a good family but exactly because they are kind I can't bring myself to talk about it. Luckily I've been living separately so I could make excuse regarding botched ctb attempts.

Agreed, they want only to lock you up like dangerous prisoner

I am sorry for you there is no freedom in this world,you must comply or you'll be locked in jail or psychiatric facillity :/

Thanks, I won't talk about it with my familly, they'd lock me up. I have paranoia that they would use my every word as attempt to declare me legally incapacitated

I don't think it's better to keep things bottled up. But I understand why people do. I'm at a point in my life where I don't trust many people so I don't speak about my mental health in depth anymore. I want to but I'm scared of being let down again and I don't want to be a problem. If you have someone you trust in your life then please try to open up to them if you feel comfortable. It's a lot to carry on your own

Same, also being locked up scares me a lot, I'd rather choose poor mental health than that
