  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've been wavering between methods because none is really easy and peaceful *sigh* but if I choose train my biggest fear would be staggering and falling before the train hits me (I wouldn't lie down on the tracks). So I'd kneel on the tracks with my body stiff and high up, arms spread a bit for balance, so the train will probably hit and crash my head, neck, shoulders... only. Which is enough to die. For me it must be a highspeed train: quicker and safer. Biggest risk is I think surviving with lost limps, so that must be evaded at all costs.

Not unless you are very limited in your options. It is a legitimate method, but not completely reliable and a failed attempt looks about how you'd expect.

I would only consider this if you're desperate and have no other options. There in the risk the train will just amputate your legs, and you will receive immediate first aid because the conductor will know they hit someone and the staff are trained in first aid.
