People use what they have access to, there's a lot of people pushing towards N and SN because they're very peaceful ways to go if you can get your hands on it. Most Europeans can't get a gun so we have to settle for sn, jumping, train, hanging, co2 etc.

If you look you'll find discussions on guns, hanging, jumping etc, the thing with gun discussion is it can be quite simple, not a lot to discuss. Put gun to head, bang!

I'm hoping to use N next time I try to CBT. I've failed with partial hanging in the past and quite frankly would rather not try it again

Hanging would freak me the fuck out.

Yes, it's probably painful as fuck. But I had time to think about it and watched a lot of videos. In full suspension hanging, you pass out in about 15 seconds. Completely unconscious. It's probably the worst pain and panic of your life, but it's 15 seconds.
With SN and any other poison, there's the time to wait until it kicks in, and that's... minutes. Not just seconds.
That's more time for your SI to kick in and you regret your decision. With hanging, there's no going back. Even if you try, you will die no matter what. You just have to kick that bucket, and once you do it's all over.
Plus, two things I don't like about SN: The waiting to kick in is not immediate gut wrenching panic, but that's somehow worse to me, because that means you will have conscious thoughts before you die, and that somehow is a way sadder ending to me. Second, it's way more peaceful and less traumatizing to whoever hears about it or sees it. My life was NOT peaceful. My life was spent in hell. Why the hell would I want people to think I went out peacefully? I want people to know I was in unbearable pain so maybe they can understand my decision a little bit more. And what difference would it make for me if I did? None. Because the result is the same. Death.

I would ideally choose SN, but I think hanging is more likely for me. It has always been my chosen method.

My method is jumping from a 115m tall bridge because chances to succeed are almost 100% and it's completely painless. I would probably pass out during the fall.

sn is one of the last methods I have in mind. If I can't go with the exit bag or n then i'll either opt for a gun or jumping(probably both). I just want a quick/sure death more than anything else.

I like what you said about you not wanting people to think you ended peacefully...you said hanging one dies no matter what. It seems many people fail. Good luck whatever you do.
