The PPeH calls for 95% so yes 97+ should be usable.

97% pure SN should get the job done. The SN I purchased is ≥97% pro analysi. Which in practice if the SN is freshly made and kept properly in a sealed bottle, should have 98%-99% purity.

If you ask me about the source of my SN, I bought it in my country North Macedonia. It's the poorest and most corupt country in europe. Also there is a lot of lawlesness, chemicals here are poorly regulted too. So I bought it without any trouble.
