  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've been accepted by Pegasos and I'm trying to decide between an intravenous N or drinking the stuff. Leaning towards the former to avoid throwing up or a nasty taste. Also a quicker process.

Just wondering if there are any downsides.

IV would work much faster than oral administration. There are side effects, but they are usually quite rare.

I'd definitely go for the IV. But it's your choice at the end of the day.

With IV, you will most likely pass before they finish the injection. Oral is fast, but not instant. If you're okay with that, then the only downside is that you will have to be poked by a needle.

I imagine that Pegasus will be able to speak with you in more detail though.

You die before they finish the injection? Is it really that fast??

Yes, it's an overdose of a barbiturate. You can probably find videos of animals being euthanized by IV administration. Their heartbeats usually cease before finishing injection. This is why you can't inject yourself; you will pass out before giving a lethal dose.

Have you ever been sedated before in a hospital procedure? You wouldn't even be able to count to 10.
