inert gas- exit bag vs EEBD hood.

I am toying between using the hood or the exit bag.

The exit bag part makes sense to me, I was easily able to set it up.

I have my gas cylinder of pure nitrogen (80cf, no risk of running out) and then I have a click style nitrogen regulator and some oxygen tubing which I have taped securely inside an exit bag I made. I am confused if I were to go with an EEBD hood how the tubing part would work....with the oxygen tubing it just simply fits right onto the barb on the click style regulator. I did not have to install this barb, it came with it. I am confused about how I'd hook the EEBD hosing to this barb.

Does the EEBD come with tubing that I can simply shove onto that barb on my click style regulator? Or are there are extra steps there?

You'll need tubing that fits the outgoings regulator fixing and the hood barb. You're unlikely to get a correlation so I would use a screw tightened collar clamp on the loser fitting and get a hose to fit the larger fitting (probably the hood).

Use an industrial standard hose for your chosen gas to avoid oxygen contamination. Not all hoses are effective. Sadly, industrial standard hoses are expensive, but you don't want to do it by halves.

Do you think the eebd hood is much more reliable as opposed to the exit bag? I want to do the exit bag cus it seems more straight forward and less expensive, but will consider eebd or scba if it is that much more reliable/effective.

I'm struggling with making an exit bag. I'm thinking about an oven roasting bag but it looks very thin and seems might tear easily. Can you please share how you assembled the exit bag? May be even a photo?

Industrial are designed to keep out oxygen.
