Impacted by the pandemic

This whole pandemic situation is really starting to cause so many problems on top of constantly fighting off urges to ctb. Where I live they have a emergency program like other countries that will help out people whose job is affected by this. The nature of my job is technically self employed but it isn't really self employed...it's a full commission job but it has been severely affected by what's going on. I have also a part time job that brings in very little income and that has caused me to not qualify for any benefits.
This is kind of a nightmare of sorts, the stress of not having enough income coming in has compounded an already stressful situation. Is anyone else affected by this?

I'm sorry to hear that. I made a terrible financial decision ten days after that that has really caused some serious problems as well. Hugs

It IS a pandemic because it's affecting all parts of the world. Number of deaths are low doesn't mean it's not a pandemic. And it's not over yet so number of deaths will increase. Sorry.

This is a horrible situation that no one should have to be forced into, I hope the government can find some sort of support for you. It's so sad how many people will be in your posistion, sending light!

I think most of us are in the same boat. I bet there are some scumbags saying we have it ok because we want to die.

But when you're looking at being under pressure to kill yourself because of financial situation...
I don't know if you find this but it's as if your whole survival instinct kicks in and you're now committing suicide because of the pressure to have a roof and food and forget you wanted this before. That's what I'm worrying about as I didn't intend to go until I had a formal diagnosis for my underlying health problems but now I HAVE to because all that testing has stopped because the NHS is overstretched. Sorry if I've rambled.
