I just read a few reports on deaths from sodium nitrite poisoning, and I noticed that in some cases people called emergency services partway through. I'm wondering if it's because the symptoms became too unbearable during the process. Of course, that's just my guess.

I'd like to know—do you consider to reset your phone or organize/clean up parts of your photo gallery? And do you keep your social media accounts?

Thank you all for your replies and answers.

Edit:the tense in the title might be wrong, so I fixed it…

i would think it has more to do with

when your sn arrives - shit's getting real
when you prepare it to drink - it gets more real
once you have consumed it - it don't get more real than that

now you have around 15 minutes of "life" left, and while it will fairly quickly start fading to black - it will feel like a lifetime, because it is the rest of your life. some people might start regretting their decision due to the short, but very long wait to pass out. others might lose track of time, and maybe feel that it has been much longer than it actually is, and then start panicking that it isn't working. it seems for most people, it is very peaceful and not that painful or uncomfortable. obviously for some, there will be some issues, be they small or large, but when it is going to last for the rest of your life, it is potentially very easy to try and find a way out. not necessarily to live, but to stop the discomfort they feel

i am not sure that i would bother deleting too much if anything. once i am gone, i seriously doubt that i will care if anyone finds the stuff i have downloaded or the pictures i took of myself that perhaps i should not have :pfff:

i wouldn't delete any social media accounts - would not really care either way, so if they just disappeared with me, that would be fine, but i do not see the point in going out of my way to delete them

You'll still be conscious for few minutes after ingesting SN, along with the tachycardia, nausea, headache, etc. I think the time window what causes doubts and panic.

I personally don't plan to reset my phone or deleting my social media.

yes,I used a translation tool and asked an AI translator, but the content is exactly what I wanted to ask.
My English isn't very good, so I'm sorry about that.

I'm not going to reset my phone, I plan to leave it unlocked so that when police give it back to my family, my family can have all the photos I've taken of myself and my adventures with my dog. In the past 4 years or so I've cut off and distanced myself from most of my family, so I think it'll be nice for them to get to know me again through my photos and what not after I'm gone. I do plan to clean things up a bit though, get rid of traces of DSL, and some of my notes regarding my plans to CTB. I won't delete any social media, but I will log out of SaSu and Facebook + clear my browsing history and cookies.

My first attempt, I reset my computer, storing everything important on a password protected USB if I failed. Thank god I did, lol.

Next time I won't bother with that. If I fail again it'll be devastating to lose all of my memories too. Whatever I leave behind, I leave behind. But like NotSoEnchanted said, I'll erase anything that could be related to my planning, including SaSu, as I don't want to put this site under even more public scrutiny if that's what people take away from my death. Though I don't necessarily want people to CTB, it would be a little cruel of me to metaphorically kick the ladder from under me, haha.
