I don't know how much comfort it gives you @death137 to say you're not the only one. I think all of us are tired. We just go through the motions of daily living yearning for our torture to end.

I really felt this today. Woke up this morning having a panic attack, the sun was shining and I'm just thinking to myself how I desire to die so badly

" I'm tired. " Well I hear that! I am exhausted too. Even the most simple meaningless tasks are getting harder and harder and most of the time don't even get done. We just keep going on with the si being strong and pulling us around to do meaningless things and continue to suffer.

Im with you on that. Do you suffer from insomnia or do you at least get good sleep most nights? Depression can obviously also cause fatigue.

I'm almost always tired but it could be due to my illness/pain condition. I love sleep, so when I do get sleep, I try to stretch it out as much as I can. It's basically the only time I'm not aware of my suffering and is a form of escapism for me. If I get deep, dreamless sleep it's like a mini-death to me and I hope that that's what actual death would be like, only more infinite.

Besides, good sleep is vital for health and well-being.

It's both physical and emotional fatigue for me.

Emotionally, I'm struggling to find the means to keep fighting. I've been drinking heavily to numb myself but it's a vicious cycle because I wake up feeling worse.

Physically, I have no trouble falling asleep. It's saying asleep that is the issue. Just like an alarm clock, I wake up at 0300 hours every damn day without fail and there's this sense of immense loneliness and inevitable doom. So bad that sometimes I find it hard to breathe.

Hang in there, friend.

I fully comprehend where you are coming from. Every time I wake up I think damn it, sleep won't make me not feel tired because it's how I feel mentally. Tired of battling on in a war I lost many many years ago. It's now On a level that only ctb will fix or just having a magical miracle (not just any ole miracle) fix me.

I'm also tired. Physically - thanks to insomnia. And mentally - tortured by my illness. It's so difficult to do simple tasks, because I have no energy. It feels good if I manage somehow to push through and get something done. But it would be miserable if I had to live like this for the rest of my life.

I think I get good sleep most of the time but when I'm awake I suffer a lot. My mind and body are both tited

It's good that you are coping with sleep. Being awake is pain.

Are you on any medications that can cause fatigue?

I know you can be prescribed stimulant type medications for fatigue and to help you concentrate, but as far as I know they can be addictive.

If you're not on any meds that are causing fatigue then it's definitely your depression that's weighing you down.

I feel for you and sending you lots of love and hugs.

I sometimes take painkiller medication for my headache but I don't think they make me tired. I think it's the depression like you said and also lack of physical activities that are causing it.

Thank you pookie for your care. I appreciate it. Sending back hugs and love :)

Idk how, I usually go to bed at like 8:00 pm and wake up around 11:00 am. I think my meds make me extra drowsy. That plus depression and anxiety exhaustion = lots of sleep.

Do you enjoy the escapism of 15 hours sleep a day or would you prefer just the "normal" 8 hours of sleep a day?

Honestly, I prefer 15 hours to 8 hours. I love sleeping and much prefer my dreams to reality.

Same. But it's very rare for me to sleep for 15 hours. 10 hours at most if I'm lucky.
