I'm still alive. The SN worked well enough but I was found and taken to the hospital. They stabilized me and I'm home now. No lasting physical effects; I'm just very tired. Wanted to let you guys know.

Wow I just read all of this. What a fascinating story about ctb. An hour and a half later your neighbor saw you. You planned it right, did everything right as it seems, and you woke up in the hospital! How are you doing mentally with all of this? Do you think maybe it's just not your time to go yet? Or there's more in store for you in life?
Everybody has to ask because nobody knows much about SN fully. @Xerxes was the last person to report anything and he's invisible right now.

Not too well mentally. I'm pretty numb. I have no idea what I'm going to do going forward. Depressed and upset with myself for failing a "foolproof" method because I was too stupid to make sure the curtains were closed.

i hate to be the *cynic* here, but this story simply doesn't make sense.

a neighbor, with no clearly stated reason to 'worry' suddenly becomes worried and decides to check on them.

then, when no answer at 9:30 at night peeks through a window and sees them passed out. instead of making the reasonable assumption that they are asleep, they call authorities.

then, hospital doctors, knowing it was an overdose on SN, a meat curing salt, gingerly 'accepts' this person thought it was a weight loss supplement and does not follow up with a social work or psych eval. even after without a doubt testing blood levels and finding obnoxiously high levels.

i'm sure there will be many here who don't appreciate this post, but i feel it's worth pointing out; there are many members considering this method and false stories, if indeed this is one, are potentially dangerous. i sincerely hope everyone here takes any single self-report with a degree of skepticism and always puts more weight on documented cases published from reliable sources.

When I tried to dissolve my sn into dmso, it took forever. Maybe the dmso I had was bad, it was in a plastic bottle but it had good reviews on amazon. I have since got a different bottle. Its glass and odorless. You said you used 15g, but how much dmso did you use? I'm 68kg, so I'm thinking of using 20g just to be sure, but I live alone so I won't be found unless I send a delayed text (which I'm going to do, but I'll be delaying it for 16 hours).

The Peaceful Pill Handbook recommends the lethal dose of 15 gs of SN. That's why. I'm going to go with 30 grams just to be safe.

20g was the number he said and over. and little over 10 minutes it started to kick in.

Yeah. That's why I'm thinking 20g at the min. I'll dissolve as much sn in 100ml of dmso as I can, up to 25g. Anymore can I think I will puke even with anti-e

The method seems to not have much evidence behind it, which is why I want to post here while taking it in a few days and see if I can help with some questions about its effects. Apparently, the book has changed the recommended lethal dosage of SN from 5g to 15g with updates. I'm not sure if the 30 grams I'm going to take is too much and will hurt my attempt to CTB, but I only bought 30 grams, so I figured I might as well use it all.

Why do you think he's the only person who has died using SN? He isn't even confirmed to be dead, or am I wrong? Until we have an obituary or news article proving that he is dead, he is as dead as any other person who has left this site after announcing their plans to ctb. Other people have actually been confirmed to be dead outside this forum after expressing their intent to use SN, and who I'd add to my list before him.

Yeah. Unless posters give their name to someone and then have an obituary posted, it's hard to confirm. People could have just stopped posting or failed and are in psychiatric hold.

I'm going to attempt SN in a couple days, so I will private message someone my name beforehand.

No, I don't expect you to have comprehensive knowledge about SN. Nobody really does, even not those of us who have spent a while on this site. But when you write "as far as I'm concerned...", as opposed to "the only case I know about" or something similar, it sort of seems like you've made a judgement and decided that his attempt was the only legitimate and credible account. At least that's what it sounds like to my ears. Maybe I'm alone in interpreting that way, and if that's the case, I apologize. My condescending tone was just a reaction to what I felt was a combination of condescension and misinformation.

Fwiw, l read it that way too, and have to say the collective mentality on here which often concludes that someone not posting for a few days means they have most definitely ctb in joyously peaceful circumstances using a novelty method really grates.

This is exactly the problem. I am aware of two obituaries of people from here who used SN. I have no way of knowing if they passed peacefully or in hospital or in pain - no idea. Or whether they took anything additional. There is no way to know.

To assume anything from someone leaving the forum clutching a bag of SN is real folly. We have no real information on how peaceful death from this is.

SN just feels, in my opinion, that dosage and body chemistry are just not concrete yet. As someone who has had seizures and finds them genuinely terrifying I don't fancy this at all.

I wish you all the best. If you find yourself writhing in pain then fgs, call for help! The risk of very short term psychiatric hospital is not as bad as dying in agony!!

I think this is fair. Also kind of sad bc we know nothing about sn basically.
